I swear this is NOT a story to gain pity, lol. Rather I wanted to share with you what it's REALLY like to lug books to a speech 2 hours away for a speech.
That's what happened last night. Now, granted, not every speech is like the one I had last night in Sebring, FL. But lately seems more and more I'm facing a battle that makes me question "WTF am I doing?"
As someone who has consistently made 6 figure income nearly my entire adult life (at least since I was 29 newly graduated from a late-start at College), my family thinks I've gone bananas. They simply cannot understand why I'm now devoting my life to "saving our country" when I can make "so much money." They don't see what I see: i.e., we are DONE.
But, I digress. So last night I committed to speaking to the Highlands Tea Party group. I've spoken there at least once a year for the past 4 years. I love this group. Very Patriotic. They had asked me to come to give them an update about the elections (Primary) because they know how deeply involved I am.
In preparation for my 30-min speech, I had a friend of mine (data investigator) run some info re Highlands County so I could share with the audience how their county performed in the Primary. I fully expected the data to come out in their favor...it is a deep RED county, after all.
Shockingly, that was not the #s my investigator uncovered. OMG. Florida is in trouble.
So, I asked the audience during my speech, "how many here believe your Supervisor of Elections is good?" 99% raised their hands. My next question was, "How many have filed a PRR?" Only one knew what a PRR (Public Records Request) was. Next question: "So if you've never filed a PRR with your Supervisor of Elections, how do you know he/she is any good?"
You could have heard a pin drop.
We are so naive. God help us.
Oh yeah...the reason I brought this up is because I wanted to share what is was like being an Author/Speaker...right. So, I had to pretty much beg the coordinator beforehand for a Speaker Fee, which nowadays I've learned and so I ask upfront for $250 minimum. Well, this coordinator said (as do many) their group cannot afford that. So we agreed on $150.00. I truly hate not sharing my message because of money. Still, it makes life hard.
After a two hour drive to...and home...I sold a total of $75.00 worth of books. I'd forgotten Trump's debate was that night. Regardless, because I've been there multiple times, many of the audience already has my book. They all love my book. I suggested they buy another copy of my book as a Christmas gift (I guess it's too early for Christmas gifts.)
So, I got a little bit smarter as my supporters started asking me, "When are you coming out with your sequel?"
My standard answer is: if I slow down enough to write a sequel, sure...I could make more money no doubt. But, what do we need more of? Another book? Or grassroots volunteers who are DOING SOMETHING ABOUT OUR EFFING ELECTIONS/J6 PROBLEMS?
OMG sometimes I just can't take it anymore.

I just logged on here because I hadn't done it in awhile and to my amazement, I have several NEW supporters who have generously donated to keep me going. You all really have no idea how much that means to me. It honestly made my day.
Thank you to all who continue to support me. I know I should be more sharing here so you feel as though you're getting "something" for your monthly donations. But, believe me, I do not take vacations. I scrap through my monthly bills. I don't stop for one minute with my work to help save our country because there is not one iota of doubt in my mind that we are in serious trouble.
So, while God continues to put me in scenarios to help in that cause, I will never, ever stop. Thank you for making that possible. God bless. We are in for a very bumpy ride in the coming months.

Hi to all my supporters! Since the 3 hurricanes hit my home, I've been focused on getting my life back in order. That's why you've seen no podcasts recently.
I've put all my political work on hold except making myself available for consulting with any help I can volunteer on Election Security, the Pinellas Watchdogs group I founded, and what's only absolutely necessary as I plan the sale of my property and buying new.
But, that doesn't mean the success of Trump's new Admin and America Firsters isn't my continued top concern. In fact, I'm working in the background on helping organize a Pardon the J6ers event in February for all Florida J6ers (the majority are from this state). We're starting to do the planning phases and the event will feature some big names and many of the persecuted J6ers who we hope will be out by then. The purpose will be to raise enough money that will help most, if not all of them, to get reacclimated to life on the "outside". They are going to need help and prayers from us ...
To all my wonderful supporters. You may be wondering where I've been. My sincere apologies for not chiming in sooner. The past couple months have been overwhelming. Two months before Election day, in early August, I got hit by Hurricane Debby. Took part of my roof. That wasn't too bad until Helene hit in late September. That one got me good. Before I even had a chance to begin cleaning up from Helene, Milton hit me on Oct 10.
I have been in salvage mode, dealing with claims (3), and now in cleanup phase. While I hate to even complain as so many got hit even worse, I wanted to let you know why I've had to put everything non-hurricane-related on hold. I am currently in a holding pattern re my home/property because of a FEMA policy called "50% Rule" which has taken me and many other homeowners by complete surprise. Not sure if I shared about the Injunction that was filed on 7/31/24 by one of my Slate of AF SOE Candidates BUT...
The case got handed to Judge Aileen Cannon...holy shit! Who saw that coming? This case is challenging FL's non-citizen voting process and I think it just made a HUGE difference in our state's elections! Tune in for more.
